FAS Converting has been growing and adding new companies in new markets to our portfolio of satisfied customers.

The versatility, sophisticated simplicity and flexibility of the FAS Converting equipment design appeals to many types of companies with a wide variety of converting challenges.

We take our role as global leaders for converting solutions seriously as we bring our technology to more markets farther from home.

What this means to you, our customers, and prospective customers is that as we broaden our reach in the market we solve a wider and wider variety of challenges. This base of knowledge and experience drives everything we do and we can be a better supplier to all of our customers as a result.

Fas Converting will once again be exhibiting at the PlastEurasia fair in Istanbul December 5-8 2018. We will be in Hall 2 Stand 220 with our recently appointed rep for the Turkish market,At the PlastEurasia Fas Converting and ÖZHANMAK will conduct a live demonstration of the newly developed Euroline 2.0. This is the first time that the Euroline 2.0 will be seen at an exhibition. Many of you are quite familiar with he Euroline. This has been a very successful, cost effective solution for in line or out of line coreless bag on roll production. We have happy customers operating Eurolines in many markets globally.

In talking with you our customers we have heard some suggestions and requests for additional features to be included on the Euroline. We have listened, and are happy to introduce the euroline2.0 at the PlastEurasia, and fairs in the future. The Euroline 2.0 will have the same features of the current Euroline but will also include:

  • Full color touch screen cooperator HMI
  • Higher cycling speeds (up to 8 rolls per minute)
  • Optional print registration available.
  • Internet connectivity for remote troubleshooting
  • On board trouble shooting with fault identification and recording.

FAS Converting has recently joined forces with the K-Group of Companies to support sales activities in Pakistan.

Mr. Kafil Shaik (CEO) and Mr. Masnoon Alam comprise the commercial and technical leadership team at the K Group as they support their customers with world class equipment for Film extrusion, film converting, Printing, slitting, and recycling applications from their headquarters in Karachi. FAS Converting Regional Sales Manager Joakim Sjödin said “We are very excited to begin our collaboration with the K-Group Team in this growing market. Their technical expertise and relationships with their customers and current suppliers will offer great synergies for our converting solutions. We are confident that with K-Group’s support we can serve this market in the manner that FAS Converting customers worldwide are expecting”

FAS Converting participated in the recent Expoplast fair in Bucharest in September.

While this was a smaller, regional show, it gave us the opportunity to get to know many of the key producers in this market in depth as many important and productive discussions were held at this exposition.
As was highlighted in an earlier newsletter, FAS Converting is collaborating with The Wilhelm Group in several key markets in eastern Europe, Romania being one of the most important ones.

As you can see from this list of principals represented by Wilhelm in Romania, they are well positioned to offer the best technical solutions for their customers in extrusion, converting, material handling, and recycling solutions. Global sales director Peter Håkansson commented “we are very pleased with our representation in these markets by the Wilhelm group. We are seeing the results of this relationship as we get to know many of the top producers in their markets. We look forward to much success going forward with the three-way partnership between Wilhelm, FAS Converting and their customers.”


FAS Converting is pleased to announce a new strategic partnership with Plastexpert, One of the most prominent manufacturer’s representatives for Plastics Machinery in Russia & CIS with headquarters in Vilnius.

FAS Converting will be exhibiting at the upcoming Interplastica exhibition in Moscow 29 Jan – 1 Feb 2019.
