Start-ups remotely done
are becoming more common
by the day!
With a pandemic spreading and more and more borders closing all over the world, FAS Converting faces new exciting challenges in order to support our customers in the best possible way. FAS Converting has now had several successful startups done remotely, the last one done was for our customer in South Africa.
Our Service Engineers, Morten Severinsen and Rolf Gustavsson are doing the startups remotely using communication programs, phones and remote connections to the machines PLC and HMI.
- “It is challenging but has worked out well with good results”, said Morten Severinsen after the first startup.
- Rolf Gustavsson informs us further of the new preparatory material developed to facilitate the remote startup process in terms of both technical and assembly instructions.
As our customers are satisfied and happy with the results, we at FAS Converting are very happy as well.
It is important to be able to adapt to different situations, and though nothing compares to being together with our customers physically, we now have a complementary routine that will result in a more efficient technical support going forward.
Last but not least we are extremely happy and proud to be able to say that our business continues to grow at a quicker pace than ever before. Our orderbook is at a high level and we would like to say THANK YOU for your confidence!
